Worried over the spate of killings in the state, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), taking refuge in Tsafe town of Tsafe local government area in Zamfara State have staged violent demonstration to protest wanton killings in the area. The demonstrators set ablaze the secretariat of the local government and burnt down 18 motor vehicles and motorbikes. Travellers along the road which is the major road linking Zamfara to Zaria-Kaduna-Kano and Sokoto-Kebbi were forced to delay their journey.
