INEC has Recorded Over three hundred thousand (300,000) Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVC) in Nasarawa state awaiting collection in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office.
The Residence electoral commissioner of the state, Dr Abdulraham Ajidagba, revealed this to journalists in Lafia at the two days interactive meeting with traditional rural in the state.
Expressing that INEC is worried over the number of PVCs in their possession, and will not relent its effort going downward to ward across the 13 local government areas for distribution.
He added, ” today as are talking, we have about 300, 000 PVCs uncollected spread across the state, and you know some days back INEC released numbers of those who registered state by state and Nasarawa has about 1.6 or so. Take away 300, 000 out if it will give you the actual PVCs collected”.
Calling on the people to ensure they get their cards because nobody will be allowed to vote without the voters’ card.
